Hello, I'm new to scripting but wondering how hard it would be to write a javascript to auto-fill metadata in an Illustrator document. I'm using Illustrator 25.2.1 on a Mac device. Any help/advice is appreciated, thanks!

Gordie,

just in case you do not already know it: In Adobe Bridge you can set up metadata presets which can be assigned to multiple files in one whack (they can also be called in Illustrator as soon as you have created them).

That may sometimes be more pragmatic than taking the scripting route.

Wasn't trying to be funny. Just found some stuff that sounds like what you're trying to do. 🙂
