Scrubby Zoom Cuts Out Randomly

The subject states the problem. I have great video cards well over 1gb of VRAM, but on both my Windows desktop and my Mac desktop scrubby zoom will work fine for a bit and then cut out. I then have to use the regular zoom function for the rest of the session. The main annoying thing is that I will keep trying to use scrubby zoom unconsciously and I find myself zoomed in at like 6200%, then I have zoom back out which is really inconvenient. I have looked and never found anything about this on the forums, but I know with two computers of my own doing it that surely somebody else gets this!

Closing and reopening the app fixes the problem and it seems to happen when I have a lot of vectors on screen and I'm zooming in or out very often.

Hi Ben,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused. In order to find out the cause of this issue we would need to know few details like the version of your Illustrator, OS running in the computer, what is the GPU used in it. Is your graphic card drivers up to date? If not, please do and the check.
