Question

Seeking suggestions for a book to learn Adobe Illustrator

I am interested in learning the basics of using Adobe Illustrator for creating vector graphics. I learn much better from a book than from YouTube tutorials - with a book I can work at my own pace but with a YouTube tutorial it all goes wrong if the speaker goes at a different speed than my brain. I need to get the hang of bezier curves - basic pen tool use.
Does anyone have recommendations for a good book that might help me? Is the Adobe Classroom in a Book any good? Any other recommendations?
Thank you

I liked an old book that had general information

Learn the quick and easy way to learn Adobe Illustrator with the Visual QuickStart Guide!

I think the last one was in 2022.

Once you get into it, I highly recommend Illustrator Wow Books!

While it's quite old, I still like "Real World Illustrator" by Mordy Golding. It will give you a solid foundation of how this app works.

Than you will need something to get into the new functionality. If you do not need a physical book: the documentation is written well and has step by step instructions.
