Select same character

Sorry - I think this is a simple question, but I am not finding an answer, so am turning to this excellent community.

I have a figures with text and characters. I need to change the color of a specific character (say "t"). In there a Select Same for a character?

All my characters have the same font, so I can't select Same Font.

As always - there must be a way!
