selected item doesn't appear in color

Hi !

since a got the new 26.1 version I cannot see when my object is selected. it appear in color as long as the selection tool is on but don't stay in color if I move the selection tool away.. annoying when you need to select multiple object and know wich ones are.

Is it anything to do with your edges or bounding box previews..? Check if they are being hidden?

If not have you tried resetting your preferences..?
