Using the illustration as an example is there a keyboard combination teat will let me move to the next object going from left to right?

There is no such selection routine by default.

Possibly there are workarounds, but you'd have to elaborate in order to evaluate (for example, is this always kind of an "isolated" situation with just a couple of objects inside a specified area? Are there other objects that may interfere with the desired left-to-right order? Etc.).
