Selection Tool and Pointer Issues

I have an issue with the selection tool and the pointers not working well at all. I have not seen this issue before but I have no idea how to solve it.

When ever I select the Selection Tool or a point to do something, it always has the main anchor to the right of the pointer or selection tool. If you look at the graphics attached, the selection tool is always to the left and the actual selection happen to the right of the cursor or pointer. Any idea what could be causing this.

Hi Monika,

External mouse or the touch pad mouse has the same issue.

It is a windows laptop. This only happens in Illustrator. All the other app are fine.

Can you try if this also happens when you set View to Preview on CPU?

What is your setup?

Are there perhaps more than one monitor attached?

Laptop only, external mouse. But with the external mouse unplugged this happens.

So when you use the external mouse, everything's fine?

Is this a Macbook?

External mouse or the touch pad mouse has the same issue.

It is a windows laptop. This only happens in Illustrator. All the other app are fine.
