Sending Excel cell data to specific points in Illustrator in VBA

New Here ,
Oct 27, 2013 Oct 27, 2013

I want to send the contents of A1 to an Illustrator document at 135, 172 and B1 to 135,190, same with A2/B2 will be at different coordinates as will A3/B3 and so on... I want to do this 6 times and save the document as a PDF. Then, it should clear and do it again. The columns will ALWAYS be A and B.

I would be most grateful for help on this seemingly simple task.

Thanks.

Thanks, that is an EXCELLENT start. Are there any command for setting the X and Y coordinates directly?

I entered the sample code you directed me to but I gat an error that said: ActiveX Component can't create object, and takes me to the line: Set iDoc = iApp.ActiveDocument. What have I done wrong?
