Set vertical alignment via extendscript?

Hello all,

I'm working on a script to batch create a large number of images and need to vertically center the text in an Area Text. I've had no luck finding anything in the documentation about setting this Area Type Alignment setting:

Is it possible via extendscript?

I don't think that's possible.  See this post from last year .
