when I try to do my grading for sizes, it only shows the largest one being moved and not the path of the others. Can you help me with this? When I was in Outline mode it would show each size and as I locked each size it would show each size with the path. When I am in Preview, it seems to not show the size grading. I moved Small-XLarge but it only show XLarge.

Most people do not know what grading is or which steps it includes or how you do it. Can you please describe exactly what you are doing and what you expect to happen and what happens instead?

Hi Veronica

1. There is not any patterns here. Do you mean shapes?

2. If you drew the smallest one first and then on each next step the bigger one, you see only the biggest one just because it overlaps all others. If you set the fill as None, you'll see all shapes. To see all shapes with their fills, change their arrange to have the biggest shape back and the smallest one front. Use Ctrl/Cmd+[ to move the shape backward and Ctrl/Cmd+] to move it forward.

Post title changed for clarity.

A pattern in Illustrator is a repeatable decorative design.

You are talking about a sewing pattern.
