Shapes alignment

Hello everyone,

There is a problem I can't fix and I've had it on previous projects as well.

I need to insert more than one triangle but they don't align properly. I put a rectangle below it just to show that the triangle is not perfectly even. I even tried rotating by pressing shift to no avail. Any suggestions?

It looks like the triangle has not been created as intended:

you say "insert"? Please explain. Maybe just create a new triangle? You can do this easily with the Star tool.

Thank you for replying. I basically made it taking an anchor point of a square. How would that work with  the star tool? Thanks again.

also use the Properties of an anchor point or Guide-Lines… if you can't draw a basic Shape.
