I've recently had an issue where vector shapes flip vertically when I adjust their height in the Transform panel. For example, I have a shape that is 100mm tall and when I change that down to 99mm it flips vertically as well as resizing. Change it down to 98mm and it flips back again.
I've never had illustrator do this to me in 20-odd years of using it so I'm totally foxed. Have I unwittingly turned some setting on??

Did that happen in just one file?

How do you change it, scale tool, transform panel, control panel, properties panel?
Do all of them have the same problem?

OK it just seems to be the transform tools in the Properties panel that cause the issue. Just tried the Transform panel and it behaves as it should.

Do you have a recent version of Illustrator?
If so, restartin Illustrator, your computer may help.
If that does not help:
