I bought vector art, modified it, but when I try to upload to my shopify account it says it is corrupt
We need to know a lot more details in order to help.
Also: you should take into account that the error is on shopify's side. Have you asked them about it?
Also: what is shopify?

Please tell us the details.
What did you download?
What did you edit?
What kind of file format did you save?
Just how did you upload?
What are the file specifications for shopify?
A screenshot might help as well.
There are potential issues in this apart from your editing: the downloaded file might just be corrupt and shopify might just be working wrongly.
What exactly are you doing in shopify? Uploading to have it printed? Uploading for another reason?
Please help us help you. It will speed up the process and it will be less annoying as well.
Just before someone else chimes in to mention that: I suppose you have the necessary copyrights to use the clipart the way you do. Not all clipart is allowed as a logo and not all clipart is allowed to be resold.

I purchased and edited vector art. I tried saving in ai., eps., and pdf. When I try to save in pdf form ai says it is not the correct size? tried to upload to shopify in both ai and eps, since I wasn't able to save as pdf.
I am uploading in shopify as an image for website. I am checking for file specifications

Clip art might come in several flavours. And might have been created by some rather unusual pieces of software. So depending on what's inside the file, this might totally be possible. Without seeing the file and knowing what exactly you did, we can't know.
What you can do is select just the pieces you want to use and make sure you don't select anything else, not even a single anchor point or something invisible and copy that to a new Illustrator file. Then save.

So you want to use it as a logo on your web site? You have a shop on shopify?
They must have some rules as to what kind of files they accept. Most likely it's neither EPS nor AI nor PDF, but rather something like PNG or JPEG.
