Shortcuts not working

I need some help,

some of my shortcuts aren't working. I noticed the problem while trying to use the Show Grid (Ctrl + ') shortcut. The Arrange shortcuts are also not working.

It seems to be just in Illustrator, the shortcuts are working inside other softwares. Apparently the problem is with CTRL + any special character.

I've reinstalled Windows and Illustrator again and the problem persists. I think it's good to mention that I'm using Illustrator in Brazilian Portuguese with a ABNT2 keyboard.

Anyone has a solution?

    It's weird that when I use the Text tool and try to use the " [ " and " ] " keys, everything is fine.

    The problem is the combination of Ctrl + those keys.

    Do you have any other applications which might be using the same keyboard combinations? If so they might be superseding Illustrator's usage of them. Try restarting the computer and only opening Illustrator and see if the key commands will then work in Illustrator. If that does turn out to be the case you may be able to change the shortcuts in Illustrator through Edit Menu>Keyboard Shortcuts.

    No other application running.

    If I change the shortcut everything works fine. But I don't want to mess with the original shortcuts.

    I think it's a bug, sadly.

    do you by any chance use some Wacom device?

    Edit: since you mention special characters: when using a different language in Illustrator than on your system/keyboard, you will always experience this.

    You mentioned different languages, but actually I'm using the same language for system and Illustrator.
