Smallest Files Size PDF is not created

I have 40MB *.ai file with 500cm length and 280 cm width. Saving as PDF (as Press Quality) is doable, but saving as PDf as Smllest File Size can not be created and it takes long time without creating the favorite file. The press quality file is very huge (about 70MB). I need to have smallest file size, but it is not created.

What is the problem and how can I solve the problem?

As per Mohsen's statement it is not a large canvas file (5000 x 2800 mm), Ton.

Am I overlooking something or should we better wait for a sample file?

You are right, my mistake.

But no problems here saving a large file (136mb) as smallest file (2,4mb) in 24.3 (Mac)

You are saving a Large Canvas file.

I get some warnings about the document size, but continue and it saves (very small).

Which version pdf do you save 1.6?

In general, it is recommendable to share sample files publicly, so all participants may help. I do understand that this may sometimes not be desired, whatever reasons there may be.
