Smart Guides Not Functioning in Illustrator V29.0.1

Smart guides are not working. I've trying turning off snap to points and other snap options but it's still not working. Anyone else having that issue?

Same problem here (version 29 onwards, windows 11), gone back to using v28

I understand how frustrating it can be when Smart Guides aren’t working! Could you please let us know which version of Illustrator you’re using and details about your operating system? Additionally, are you experiencing this issue with just one specific file or across all your files?

In the meantime, here are a few steps that might help resolve the issue:

Go to Edit > Preferences > Guides & Grid (or Illustrator > Preferences > Guides & Grid on macOS) and ensure that "Smart Guides" is enabled.
Sometimes resetting your preferences can help. To do this, close Illustrator, then relaunch it while holding down Alt+Control+Shift (Windows) or Option+Command+Shift (macOS). Confirm when prompted to delete preferences. Reference: Create a backup and reset your Illustrator preferences (https://adobe.ly/4flmBSl)
