Smooth tool inconsistent - Illustrator v29.0

hello! after updating illustator 2025, smooth tool is so bad! I can not smooth a letter's edges or anchor points it messes up the whole letter and simplifies all the letter.
I can not smooth a specific part like i used to! it so sad! is there any solution?
