Hi all

I have a file with lots of polygons that I got from an external sofware (GIS).

I need to Smooth and round a bit those polygons.

The Simpify command does not do a good job.

Is there any ather way?Screen Shot 2020-02-11 at 6.13.08 PM.png

Might try assigning "Effect>Stylize>Rounded Corner", then expand effect.

Another thought is to convert to bitmap and trace with blur assigned.

Using the Smooth tool in this case (or even more complicated ones) is, well, a daring attempt. But if one has a lot of time and patience, it is certainly a possible way. 🙂

How about:

Object --> Path --> Simplify

Kurt,

Some disregard the recommendation to only use the OP Reply box more at their peril than do others.

I'm afraid that I don't understand your point, Jacob.

Kurt,

A more conspicuous kind of nothingness, as a hole beside a keyhole.
