Hello everyone.

As you can see on the video (https://vimeo.com/622554724), somtime Illustrator ignores elements which i want to snap by them.
In this example, i want to align the 3 square so that they will be aligned on the same row and with the same space between them.

What am i missing?

the AI file is attached.

First, the three icons are grouped with each other (it's fine that each icon is itself a group) and that group in turn is part of a larger group. Until the icons are properly aligned, remove them from the larger group and ungroup them from each other, leaving the separate icons each as its own group.

Second, there are so many objects in the document that I think Smart Guides is overwhelmed and doesn't know what you want to align, so I would suggest that you copy the icons into an empty document and align them there, then return them to the original document.

I hope this makes sense to you.

Peter
