Spacebar Hand tool not working

Hi everyone,

I've recently installed Illustrator along with other apps on my new windows machine. Every thing was working fine. Then I updated Photoshop and Illustrator and my spacebar hand tool stoped working on "all adobe applications". I've tried my best to find solution online and have tried every available solution already. 

I am not new to Adobe applications so I thought I could figure something out but failed. 

The situation is, when I press the spacebar from my keyboard, I can see the handtool and it move when I move the mouse but my artboard is not moving. One thing I've noticed is when I press the spacebar, the object I've selected in illustrator activate the  nodes which we only see when we select "direct selection" tool from the toolbar.  Please see attached pictures.

A couple of third party apps and also some settings are interfering with Illustrator's modifier keys. The following have been identified so far. There might be others:

• WebRoot
• Apple Terminal
• Word, Excel, Powerpoint
• »Enable Full Keyboard« in Settings > Accessibility > Keyboard on Mac OS
• Apple Mail, Outlook
• Spacebar is used as a shortcut by the system
• Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari
• Wacom Desktop Center, Wacom settings
• Windows Touch Pad problem
• LastPass, Bitwarden (password managers)
• The VPN
• LangSwitcher app (it needs to be closed and disabled)
• Notes

Hi Monika, Thanks for your effort and reply. As I've mentioned in my post. I've been searching for solution for quite some time and have already tried all available options. Restarting computer closing all other apps. Reseting shortcut keys. But all in vain.

We understand that encountering technical issues can be frustrating. Would you mind trying to run Illustrator under Safe Mode (Windows / macOS) and checking if it helps?
