While assigning the art name or UID for a text object, observed that, special characters like _, | are replaced by the AI with some pattern of characters.

If the requirement is to assign the art name including special characters, how to assign?

AI uses unicode strings so there should be no problem using special characters. Do you have some code that shows the problem?
