Stop pattern from moving when you move object

When I am moving objects the pattern doesn't stay constant.  I have not had this problem before.  How do I fix it.

A setting in either in the Preferences or the Transfom Tools / Transform Panel menu: Transform Object / Transform Pattern / Both

Turn off this setting

Also useful you can hold down tilde key ~ to move just the patten and not the object.
