I'm sorry if this has been asked before, I couldn't find it.
I was trying to make a rainbow gradient, but between the darker, blue colors there is some strange grey area that doesn't seem to make any sense.
Also the other colors do not seem to be very smooth either, even though the gradient colors are all evenly spaced. Is there any way to make that more smooth (like it would be if I used the blend tool, for example)
The first gradient has been created with the gradient tool, whereas the second with the blend tool.
I am working with the latest version of Adobe Illustrator CC, and in RGB colors.
Thanks in advance!
Okay so what eventually helped was selecting every gradient slider,
then clicking the hamburger menu and selecting RGB. For some reason it was set to grayscale... which is strange because it did show colors...
Is there anybody who can explain this to me and who can tell me how to prevent this in the future?
Thanks anyways!

Try if View > Preview on CPU produces a better result.

Hey, thanks for your answer,
That sadly didn't change it though..

You said your colors are RGB -- is your Illustrator file itself CMYK or RGB? If it is CMYK, create a new document that is RGB and re-create the gradient (do not copy/paste from the first document).
