Stroke Corner Bevel Join Not Working

Hi!

I am selecting the bevel join option under Stroke, Corner (options) and it does not actually bevel the corners. I am following a tutorial from a couple of years ago where this feature works in the tutorial, however it is not working for me. Can you please help me out? I have attached a photo of the selection I am making on the shape, however it is not beveling the corners.

You have already rounded the corners of the shape. They need to be actual corner points.

That is because your corners are rounded. Try it wit a non rounded rectangle.
