Anyone have issues with the Extensis Fusion 9 plugins and the new AI24 update? There is nothing -- no mention whatsoever -- on the Extensis site about updated plugins or conflict issues.

Extensis just announced their new version of Suitcase Fusion (v21), which is now subscription-based. It has plug-in compatibility with the new Adobe 2020 software, however the previous version of Suitcase Fusion 9 (v20) does not, and according to Extensis’ comment on this link, will not be gaining compatibility either. You must subscribe to the new version.

Digital Rick,

Thanks for digging that up. That's 'great' news -- assuming their new plugins are well coordinated with Adobe's release timing. There were past editions that did not arrive for months after AI updated.

You might want to contact them. I'm sure they have an e-mail address.

Since the new Creative Cloud was just released yesterday it is not the least unusual that a compatible Extensis Fusion plugin is not available yet. Further, it is always the case that when updating to a newer version of any CC program that third party plug-ins, that were designed for the older version, will not work correctly—if at all. As was the case with Adobe having to play catch-up with Apple when Catalina came out, third party plug-in developers must also run that same race when Adobe puts out its newest version. Hopefully, a compatible version of the plug-in is in the works and will be available soon. You might want to contact Extensis directly to find out when to expect a new version.
