Which system is it?
The Suitcase client has to 150% compatible with the system and Illustrator.
150% can hardly be achieved and that is the issue you are running into.

What version of Suitcase are you running? There had been reports of Big Sur causing the clients to lose connection if the computer went to sleep, but that was supposedly corrected in the last version. In any case, I would scan the Extensis site for possible solutions.

Hmmm. I just looked up their compatibility matrix and it doesn't have Big Sur as compatible with CC2020 plugins. Better check with Extensis on this.

Did you ever figure this out? I am having the same problem with InDesign and I can't find anything on the web except your call for help.

I'm also getting this on Ventura – the Extensis Connect client is logging out on sleep. It's not earth-shattering levels of inconvenience, but it is annoying
