Surface vs. iPad for illustrator

would you rather recommend using adobe illustrator on the newest version of each iPad or Surface?

    as far as i'm aware there is no iOS version of Illustrator, so the iPad's out.

    What ever you are more comfortable with. I use the iPad with AstroPad. I also have used Duet with the iPad in the past. I think both the Surface and iPad are great options.

    Maybe you can compare a Surface vs. a Wacom MobileStudio Pro...

    As Doug mentions, there is no Illustrator for the iPad.

    thanks guys! do you like using illustrator on surface? I was guessing using an electronic pen would be a huge step forward in using illustrator

    Surface it's a great product.

    My recommendation is going to some Microsoft Store and test it.

    As for iPad or Surface, I'm still trying to make that choice as well.

    Draw is not Illustrator, its a dedicated mobile app. you can run full illustrator on a surface because it runs Windows, but not on iOS.
