SVG not exporting to size-tons of whitespace

Hi,

I have a vector logo that I worked on a few months ago and exported it no problem. I needed to change something and now when I export it the logo artwork is at the bottom of the file and all this white space is above it. I tried unchecking responsive, resizing the artboard nothing helps. I dont know illustrator all that well so I'm sure that's part of the problem.  I did some searches for help but nothing I have tried has worked. I've attached the illustrator screen and the exported file as screenshots. Thank you.

I don't see any white space above the logo opening it in a browser. I see an SVG with a width and height of 333 x 88 px. What are you opening it in to see this white space?

I am not using a browser to view the screenshots. I click on them on my desktop computer. Thanks

There is no extra white space in the SVG file itself. What screenshot are you referring to? Your screenshot is inside Illustrator.
