Hello, I have the following problem, for some reason the color palette and colors in my document changes and put opaque while I'm working, I have checked the color options and the profile settings and there is no change at all, certainly the document is not in CMYK, but it looks like I've changed it. I'm not 100% sure but I think the problem arises when I save the document, maybe I press a key combination by mistake, I don´t know, but ruins my work because there is no way to reverse it, and the colors look horrible. Has this happened to anyone?

Do you have a shortcut key under Edit Menu/edit colors/convert to cmyk?

Not that I created, I searched and I haven't found any function that does that by default in Illustrator. the worst thing is that I can´t found a way to reverse it, when I realize the colors look strange, and when checking the color profile and the color mode of the document are not in CMYK, nor in any other profile, everything is fine, but the colors are not.

here is someone with the same problem in another forum, but without a solution or explanation of why this happens, apparently I'm not the only one.

Do the color values change?
- can you tell us the values?
What has happened to your file?
- how exactly did you save it?
- did you open it on a different computer?
- did the file get corrupted?
- How exactly is your color management set up? And the color management of all the computers where this file has been opened?
It would actually be useful to have the file and not just your screenshots.

Hi, i'll try try to answer as clear as possible
Do the color values change?
yes, the entire swatches palette including global colors
- can you tell us the values?
Unfortunately not, I changed them manually to their original value
What has happened to your file?
basically the colors changed, they turned dull, also the swatches as if I had changed it to CMYK, but I have not moved any value, at least intentionally
- how exactly did you save it?
I didn't save it in any other format
- did you open it on a different computer?
No
- did the file get corrupted?
neither
- How exactly is your color management set up? And the color management of all the computers where this file has been opened?
As default haven´t changed anything.
I haven't shared the file or opened it on another computer, and haven´t had time to check if it looks the same on another computer
It would actually be useful to have the file and not just your screenshots.
I don´t know it know how useful it'll be since I changed back ALL the colors to their normal value.
I forgot to mention that, and the colors look ok now.

I have a similar problem sometimes, my question to the OP is what color picker do you use? I have only really noticed this problem the most when I use the HSL picker.
