Symbol scale size changes when using a Stroke????

I just noticed this today.

When you make a Symbol that has a Stroke, the overall size then changes.

Why???

I’m I missing something?

The stroke is part of the symbol. It also scales with the symbol instance (unless you use 9-slice scaling)
