Tapered Brush Not Smooth

Does anyone know why all of a sudden my tapered brush strokes are no longer smooth? In the photo, you can kind of see the jaggedness (not sure if that's the correct word) in the lines. This just happened today. I'm using a drawing tablet if that matters.

I don't see anything out of the ordinary there.

But you may of course try if View > Preview on CPU helps.
