Text changes settings in outline preview

I'm having a bizarre bug happening in Illustrator 2023. Part of the text I'm working on disappears, and I can only edit it if I'm in outline mode. Then, I can only export it with the text converted to curves.
Here are some images to illustrate:
1_Normal view: here, you can see the text missing areas, as if I had extra paragraphs. If I try to eliminate those spaces, it deletes the line underneath.
2_Outline view: here, you have the text as I should be seeing in normal view.
3_Export from Normal View: I thought it might be a problem with the RAM, so I exported this first pdf waiting to see the text as it should be. You can see that it exported with the error I was seeing.
4_Export after converting text to curves in outline view: I had to change to outline view again, convert the text to curves and export it to pdf.
This last image shows how it should look without jumping all these hoops!

Could you please embed those images in your post (by using the forum's web interface)?
It will be easier to compare them when we can see them side by side.

Thank you.
A couple of things to consider:
does that happen only with thise file?
Or other files?
Does it happen with other files that use this font?
Is the font 100% OK? font management apps can check it.
Are the paragraph settings suspicious?

Hi! Thanks for your questions. Just a follow-up on this. It was all ok, no strange settings and the typeface was bought, and so on. Never managed to sort it out, so I simply redrew it in InDesign. It will remain a mystery.
The new problem now is Illustrator crashing like mad (at least I can see it's not happening only to me!).
