text field not adjustable

Hey everyone,

i am working with illutrator cc and i have installed it on 2 computer. On my first computer it is fine, but on my second computer i am not able to change the size of a text field with the mouse.

it looks like this:

It should looks like this:

i cannot find any help in the settings. 
can anybody help me?

Try View menu > Show Bounding Box
