Text import is wrong (gibberish)

Hi

I got Ai files from GIS (geographical information system).

All looks well expect for the text.

 

What can I do, except for typing all of those street names 😞

Which version of Illustrator?

Which system?

Which languages are involved? System, Illustrator, the map itself?

Which font?

Do you use font management?

Did this ever work correctly?

Hebrew

Do you use font management? - what do you mean?

Yes it worked, but I can't remember if from the same Gis.

So all is in Hebrew? And the map has been made on a Hebrew system as well?

Font management is Suitcase or Font Explorer or one of several other tools.

Is the Arial the same one that is used in the map in the GIS? Or did it get reassigned? Is there a change of systems? Did someone else make the map on a different system?

 

Which GIS is it? Have you already contacted them?
