Hopefully someone can help me .......I just don't get this.  Text was placed on a circle, everything was centred. then I x 200% and it goes out of centre. Handles at the bottom look centred. What am I doing wrong?
I always have trouble with this.

Can you please tell us the exact steps?

200%? font size? Scaling the circle? using which tool?

Exactly what do you expect to happen?

Hi Monika

I put the text on a circular path, centred.....
Using the scale tool, I scaled everything by 200%. The text is scaled up, the circle is scaled up, and the text iis now off-centred.  The handles at the bottom are only available to click once and then they disappear. I get a bizarre array of text box joining options if I continue to try to find the handles to re-centre it. Maybe it's just buggy. It's v2019 as I need to output to a plotter that isn't supported by v2020

I'm expecting to see the whole thing scale, (which it does) and the text to remain centred (which it does not)  and at least to be able to manually centre it (which is impossible)

I cannot reproduce this in 2019 (version 23.1.1 Mac)

Maybe reset preferences?

I can reproduce it. But I can use the path text handles to re-adjust the text.

But it doesn't happen in 2021. So there's no point in making a bug report.

I'm finding all sorts of bugs in my 2019, maybe I can reinstall it?

I didn't know it was on 2021...... maybe that doesn't run on High Sierra?

LATEST

thanks for the info

...so 2019 is buggy.... I've just re-installed it (that was hard work!.... 25 mins on the phone to Adobe), maybe that will help.  Unfortnately the plugin that runs some hardware is not liked by 2020 so I'm stuck with having 3 versions on my mac.
