The location of the new BETA Text to graphic Vector is very invasive. It pushed the important stuff in properties down to advertise this secondary/beta feature. The worst part about it is the section doesn't stay collapsed if closed. Put it somewhere else other than properties and make that window disabled if desired. There's no way to disable it from the properties panel without closing the properties panel. Big UX boo-boo in my opinion.

Of course. The annoying opening pop-ups aren't enough to get us to beta test it so why not throw it right into the middle of people's workflow where they can't ignore it? Maybe if it was any good but so far...no. This is what it just gave for a prompt of "flower" on a a postcard I was designing.

It stays collpased for me on the mac 12.6.8 & AI 28.0. Even after closing the file and opening a new file.
I have seen a few similar posts on the properties panel. Sounds like a good suggestion would be to be able to reorder the properties panel

I understand your concern, @ericc19576445. The placement of the new BETA Text to Vector Graphic feature within the Properties panel might not be ideal for your workflow. I've noted your feedback regarding its location and behavior, and I'll ensure that it's shared with the product team. Your input is valuable in enhancing the user experience.

So the solution to support fixing a terrible UX decision is somehow thrown onto another platform where I can't even log in with my Adobe account and I have to create an account to have my voice heard?
Talk about execrable UX and community support.
The generative AI functionalities have absolutely no place in the Properties panel. They should be a standalone panel that the users can control and close. This is absolutely ridiculous on Adobe's behalf.

AI features to look good for share holders. Even though the majority of actual users want them to address or refine known issues or features that designers actually use, they still focus on AI that no one wants.

Adobe has really been making some awful UX/UI decisions lately. This is a big one and contextual task bar have been so in the way.

Agree. How is this a "property"?
