Text Wrap

I was unable to find a post with a similar problem, but I'm having some problems with text wrap. In the screenshot attached, you can see I have the construction text wrapped around my image. I would like to add a text box featuring a description of the picture but I can't figure out how to do so with the text wrap in effect. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Make another layer in the file on top of the layer with the text wrap. Put your box in there.

I stopped watching when I saw that it's 3 minutes long and contains parts of a tutorial. I'm not interested in what you are supposed to do. Please just tell us what is not working and the steps that got you there.

Your answer shocks me. The reason I included a short sequence of a turtorial you would have seen if you could bear to watch a little more. In my video I show that I do all the steps that everyone explains to do in the tutorials and also on the Adobe Help Center. Even so, it doesn't work.

95% of people in this forum are not Adobe staff. We are not responsible for the tutorials out there (unless we made them). We are just interested in figuring out problems.

As far as I can see setting a simple circle as the text wrap object and putting it above text does not work.

Did you already restart you machine? Reset Preferences?

Is that point text or area text?

There are a couple of ways you could do it.  I would add anchor points to existing text wrap to accommodate the additional text box.
