I receive this message when I try to open any Illustrator file from the cloud. Any help?

Hello @Truck808,

Thanks for reaching out. Could you try removing and reinstalling Illustrator (Beta) to see if it helps? Also, check if the problem persists when trying to open the application normally and when opening the file in the release version of Illustrator and share your observations.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Anubhav

Thank you, Anubhav
I don't see the Illustrator Beta App in my Creative Cloud App. I do see another app called Illustrator (Pre-release.) I installed the pre-release and I get an error when I launch it: Your Illustrator build has expired.

The release version opens files fine if I download them to my computer desktop

Hi @Truck808,

Thanks for the update. Could you please confirm your OS details? Try completely removing the Illustrator BETA using the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool, then reinstall it and check if the issue persists. Ref: Download and run the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool

Let me know how it goes once you try that.

Abhishek

I'm using MacOS Sequoia 15.5
Unfortunately, after using the cleaning tool, uninstalling, them reinstalling Illustrator Beta I still get the error:

“Adobe Illustrator 2026 (Beta)” is damaged and can’t be opened.

Hi @Truck808,

Thanks for sharing the update. Could you please share a short screen recording showing the complete workflow, from opening the Creative Cloud Desktop app, going to the 'Apps' and then the 'Beta apps' tab, and then trying to launch Illustrator Beta, where you see the 'damaged' error? This will help us understand exactly what's happening and check it with the team.

Looking forward to your update.

Abhishek

@Truck808 I was having the same issue, but resolved it. Go to your Application and delete the Illustrator Beta file. Once you do that, go to https://www.adobe.com/apps/all/all-platforms and download the beta version. From there, you should be able to open it.
