I'm running Windowss 11 and everytime I try to open Illustrator 2022 I get this error message "the color guide palette could not be displayed because of an error".

I've unistalled and installed with no change.  Deleted all files and reinstalled.  Still the same error.

Can someone please help?

Thanks Anubhav,

After Adobe Support looked at everything it turned out to be the OS.

After reinstalling Win 11 everything started working.

Thank you for reaching out and I appreciate the help!

Hello @RobinHoodNG2 ,

Sorry to hear about the issue you are facing. I would request you to share a few more details like:

  • Exact version of Illustrator
  • When did you start facing this problem? Have there been any changes made to your system recently (OS Update/Antivirus/Plug-Ins)?

I would also request you to go through the steps suggested in this article and share your observations with us.

Also please confirm if you used the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to re-install the app?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Anubhav

What Information do you need?

Without any actual exact system info nobody can tell you much and your cropped screenshot doesn't help much, either. The only thing that comes to mind is that your screen may not meet the requirements, given how huge everything looks. That might lead to a miscalculation of the palette layouts and crash some of them. Anyway, more info is required.
