I'm new to this illustrator script.
I think we should first understand its objects, properties and methods, and i want to know more through official VBScript reference documents, but i can't find the latest file I want in the following link, does anyone know where the latest VBScript reference documents are? Thanks!
In the link you posted, click "console" (in the upper right corner) and log in. Click "Download resources". Scroll down to "Illustrator", which is in the bottom half of the page. Click "View downloads". You'll find the VBScript reference there.

When I click the Console button, it gives an error, "You don’t have Developer role permissions to access the organization on the Adobe Developer Console." Is there another place where I can get the VBScript reference ?

You need to either use a personal account or be granted developer permissions by an administrator for your organisation's account:

Hi Raymond, I'm new to Illustrator too, come on a long walk with Corel. I also have a bit of difficulty finding material. But the community here is very active and very available. Depending on the level at which you intend to work with scripts, my advice is to think about changing the language, I believe that the best language for this would be JavaScript.
You will find material at these links to get started:

I hope this helps you.

HI Felipe,
Maybe you're right, but I'm not a professional programmer. I don't have any foundation for JS. VBS is well combined with MS office, but I find that its execution is a little slow, so maybe you're right, JS is the best language.
Thank you very much for your advice and link!

How would you describe your Corel automation experience compared to Adobe stuff?

Hi Silly-V, as I said to Raymond, I come from a long experience with Coreldraw, I have been working with him since 1996, so I feel very attached to him still. I decided to learn Illustrator just 6 months ago, and with it JS, so the experience is still very new for me. But I can say that, for me, Illustrator's Classes and Objects structure is very similar to Coreldraw's, but the JS language is very different from VB and that's my biggest difficulty. Regarding the software itself, what I can say is that in Coreldraw I can perform my tasks more directly, and here I must point out that I work in more technical areas, while in Illustrator, I get better-crafted artwork and greater creative freedom. . I'm loving learning Illustrator and I'm also loving the Community, it seems to be very active. Love !!!

Javascript fundamentals are easy to learn. I suggest giving it a try.
Edit: I see you're already writing scripts with Javascript. Please ignore what I said.

I admire you very much for your courage to learn new knowledge. You can learn new knowledge without being familiar with the working environment for more than 25 years.
Regarding CorelDRAW and Illustrator software itself, I think CorelDRAW will be more flexible to operate, and its help system is very detailed and easy to use, which is very suitable for beginners The operation of CorelDRAW is also very similar to other 2D / 3D vector software, so it is relatively easy to learn and start. However, the compatibility of CorelDRAW is relatively poor, especially in color conversion. Of course, this may not be the problem of the software itself, but the problem of industry standard setting. Because Photoshop is too powerful and even monopolizes the raster image processing software, most of the other raster image processing software are inseparable from the shadow of PS, and other related image processing software (such as Pattern and Ripping) are configured with Adobe system as the standard.
I'm also loving this community, it really is very active and helpful.
Silly-V, CarlosCanto and DilliamWowling are very active expert in scripting, you can pay attention to them.
Get ready! An upgraded Adobe Community experience is coming in January.
