the problem with barcodes

Describe the problem:
There is a program for creating barcodes from a large list of data, it creates it in a format .eps with binary code and in ArialMT format. If you insert this barcode in Adobe Illustrator and the text contains the ArialMT font, then the numbers under the barcode automatically change to letters. How can I deal with this problem?

Sorry you're having trouble with your barcode software, but this sounds like something you need to configure in that. Maybe there is an option to choose a different font when the .eps is generated?

If you insert a barcode in Adobe Illustrator with text where ArialMT is not used, the numbers below the barcode are displayed correctly.
This program has a problem with font selection.
ArialMT came up to us, but it had the problem described above.

Do you have an optical character recognition font installed? I would suggest changing the font to an OCR-A font.
