The "New File" window is opening when I'm pressing the space bar to use the "Hand" tool

Hi everyone ✌️

For exemple when I am switching from a current window like Opera browser to Illustrator window, in which I'm working on an already opened projet. And then I am trying to navigate through my project with the Hand tool by pressing Space, a New File window is opening instead.

The problem last for a few seconds and then illustraor is working like usually, but when I switch again to another window, the problem comes back.

It's really time consuming.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall but the problem persits.
Should I go to an older version of Illustrator ?

I'm working on macOS Cataline 10.15.2 with the last version of Illustrator.

Browsers are famous for meddling with keyboard input. I would first try and check if it's in fact Opera that does this.

Is the issue related to a specific document(s)/asset(s)? If yes, could you please share the document(s)/asset(s) with us? You can upload it to the creative cloud and share the download link.
When did this start happening? Are there any recent changes made to your system? For example, any antivirus, system updates or web extensions installed recently.
Try booting the system into Safe Mode (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/x-productkb/global/start-safe-boot-mode-mac.html) and check how it works there.
