Hi everyone,
I'm working with Illustrator on a large file (around 400MB). I don't know if this is the issue, but the page is very wide (around 5.300mm, height just 210mm). I'm doing this just for a different experience for my customers (so they just have to scroll left to right instead of up to down). I'm still testing this.
The issue happens when I save it in PDF, it actually does not allow me to do that. After setting all info, I click on "Save PDF" and a pop up appears saying (I'm translating from Italian) "the dimensions of the page are not within the supported interval", or something like that. It doesn't allow me to do anything, just click "ok". It doen't even allow me to report the error.
I saved this file in PDF previously for test (with less stuff in it), but it worked at the time.
Now I tried to lower the PPI, the PDF format, tried to save it in .png etc it returns me the same message.
I'm really struggling with this, please help.
Thank you very much in advance.
Good day.
Glauco.
There is a 200-inch limit in PDF exports, presumably for compatibility reasons (PDFs have/had that size limit in some versions). This is somewhat less than Illustrator's maximum document size, so occasionally users see this error when trying to save huge PDFs.

It will allow you to do that when you create a large document file first like 6.300mm X 210mm and create an artboard of 5.300mm X 210mm.
