Transform text not working properly

While transforming a text and holding shift, the transform stops woking mid drag resulting in the behaviour shown in the video.

Text size cannot get larger than 1280 pt

Apply a transform effect if you want it larger.

If you want bigger live type, you may also consider to use large canvas documents (Artboard dimensions larger than 227 inches).

There you can go up to 12960 pt.
