Trouble with Illustrator on iPad

I recently purchased a new Apple iPad Pro with a gen 2 iPencil. The Adobe Illustrator app works well, but only with finger touch. When I place the iPencil on an icon on the sidebar menus, the program craches 

I have several times deleted and re-installed the app, but the problem continues 
The Apple iPencil works brilliantly, without any problem  in all other programs on the iPad.
I can also state that I have tried restarting the iPad', as well as Bluetooth several times, without any result. In the Apple Store, where I bought the iPad and iPencil, they believe that there is nothing wrong with the Apple products, but with the Adobe program

Go to your Apple Pencil settings on the i[ad and switch off "show effects when using pencil" it'll work perfectly on illustrator.

Thank you for the tip. It works, but it seems like it might affect the way
the pencil should work when using the brush/pen tool. When I draw, the
appearance does not come imediatley, It appears only when I finnish the
stroke. Which meaens I cannot see and controll the pressure on the pen. I
you also. have a tip concerning the matter, I would be very glad. Cheers.

So far this is the only thing you can do. Other than downgrading the system, of course.
