Trying to color a drawing

Hello, I am trying to color the wave, but everytime I do it, there is that line in the middle, how do i fix that? Thank you very much.

It's an open line (fill stops at the end points), you need to close the shape, finish the bottom of the wave. You can use the Shape Builder tool - use a copy of the green circle, subtract the top of the circle, drag from wave down to lower part of circle to complete the wave.

As Laura suggested, the Shape Builder tool, or select the circle and the wave and use Live Paint:
