You could try this method: Vektorgarten - Long Shadows with Illustrator

You would need to expand and then define final color for the extrusion.

...but it is incredible that illustrator does not allow us to do something so simple and useful...

DOn't know if this plugin still works:

opo - Quick Start Guide

Before the invention of the "long shadow" this kind of extrusion was considered to be the most ugly thing you could do to type. In the nineties there existed an application that would torture type in ways you couldn't describe and do all those ugly things that are now considered "vintage". But soon afterwards you couldn't admit you knew that this application even existed, let alone admitting you actually used it.

Fashion changes and of course fashion determines what goes into an app and what doesn't.

The trouble might have been that you were using a stroke on you objects so that you got a different color. As John shows, if you just use no stroke and a lighting effect (or you could use a stroke of a very similar color) you will probably get the results you are looking for.

I'm not sure what exactly makes this a "flat" extrusion, but the fact that you pointed out the colors makes me wonder if you had trouble with the top and side surfaces rendering in the same color or too-similar colors. Notice I used 2 lights here to remedy that.

thanks for the reply. 3D extrude doesn't work for result i need because there is the inclination of the logo i don't want. i need extrude without inclination and perspective like you can see in the image i post
