Type on path flipped/ reversed in Illustrator 26.1

Latest Illustrator update 26.1 not working. Spotted bugs:
- my old illustrations display differently (example attached)
- impossible to export for the web (screen attached)

I checked with the team, and this issue was addressed in Illustrator v26.1. However, we have discovered this issue is happening on some older files created on an older version of Illustrator.

This is mainly due to the path created as a rounded rectangle disguised as Circle, which causes the issue while editing it.

I would request you to check this and confirm. If that is not the case, I will request you all to share a download link to a file in which you are using the issue, and we will check at our end.

Same problem here...all files that have text aligend to a circle are affected. The text will wrap differently around the circle. So either correct it or wait for a new version...?

I downgraded to the previous Illustrator version and now it works again as expected.

Hi,
good (well kind of good) to hear that I am not the only one having exactly the same problem. This is with Text aligned to a circle. All text is rotated. The funny thing is that the preview in the file history windows renders it correctly....

I will try to go back to an older version this might hopefully work.
