Unable to activate missing fonts in Illustrator v25.4.1

Open a document using fonts from Adobe Fonts and CC and Illustrator do not resolve the missing fonts. How do I fix this, thank you in advance.

Sorry to hear about the trouble you are facing. I would suggest you try the steps shared in this help article (https://helpx.adobe.com/hk_en/fonts/kb/troubleshoot-font-activation.html).

 

If the steps suggested in this help article doesn't help resolve your issue, then I would request you to share a few more details like:

  • Operating system
  • Is the issue happening with a specific document? If yes, could you please share the document with us? You can upload it to the Creative Cloud (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/share.html) and share the download link.
  • Which fonts are these? (Please share a screenshot of these missing fonts)
  • Are you using any third-party font manager tool?
  • Are you using any VPN or proxy network?
  • Does switching/ changing the internet connection helps to resolve the issue?
  • Please check if the system firewall is not blocking the Creative Cloud or Illustrator app?
  • Are you using any antivirus? If yes, try disabling it and see if that helps to resolve the issue.

    Hello,

    I went through the steps provided, thank you, and still no luck.

    I am using macOS 11.5.1 on the M1 chip iMac, no third party font managers outside of the native Apple one. This is my work computer so not certain if there are any firewall issues. Please note that I recently upgraded my iMac and had no issues with fonts and Illustrator on my older iMac.

    Thank you for sharing the details. I would request to share the details for the remaining unanswered question asked above. By looking at your screenshots, it seems Creative Cloud is unable to connect with the internet. You may see this (Screenshot attached) in Creative Cloud once fonts are activated. Once you see it there, close and reopen Illustrator, and missing Fonts will get activated.
