unable to add layer on illustrator.

As shown in the snapshopt, add new layer option is disabled. May I ask for a solution so that I can add new layer?

Hi, you can use the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl + L (Windows) or Cmd + L (MacOS). However, it appears that you are in isolation mode. Exit this mode and you will see that you can add the new level.

Hi Python,

 

Thanks for reaching out. It looks like that the object selected is in Isolation Mode, because of that you are unable to add a layer. Please exit Isolation mode and then try adding the layer and let us know if it works or if you need any further assistance.
